Apartments in South Montgomery

A Convenient and Scenic Neighborhood

As you can probably guess, once you cross South Boulevard, you're in the neighborhood that the locals call South Montgomery. Some of the locals will call anything that's south of I-85 "South Montgomery City", but in most cases, when you talk about South Montgomery, you're talking about something that's close to South Boulevard and south of Midtown.

Now that you know the lay of the land, why should you rent an apartment in South Montgomery?

You've got easy access to two big shopping hubs.

There is a near-endless array of stores and shopping centers along both sides of South Boulevard, but when the road curves to the north and becomes Eastern Boulevard, just a few minutes from your front door, there's even more shopping to take advantage of. The Eastdale Mall will only be a few miles from your South Montgomery apartment, and so will other slews of shopping centers. That means you can give your credit card a workout anytime you want, without having to spend more than a few minutes in the car!

There are plenty of places to soak up the sun...

Sure, your South Montgomery apartment complex will probably have its own pool, but you'll also be close to a number of city parks, including Crump Park, Smiley Young Park, Woodcrest Park, Twin Gates Park, and the Willie L. Cook III Community Center. That way, whenever you're in the mood for a scenic walk, a fun barbecue, or an informal softball game, you won't have to travel far.

If you'd rather play a formal game of golf, Gateway Park and Public Golf Course is located just north of South Boulevard and just east of I-65.

You'll find most of the popular restaurants all in one place...

On those nights when you can't decide what to have for dinner, all you have to do is drive along South Boulevard. There are so many restaurants here that it won't take long for something to tempt your appetite!

Want to go where the locals go? Feast on the giant ribs at K&J Rib Shack and the authentic tacos and tamales at Ricos Tacos.

You'll be close to the Hyundai plant...

At Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama's giant facility, they build more than 1,500 cars every single day. As you can probably guess, this is one of the biggest employers in all of Montgomery, and since the facility is located right at the southern edge of the city limits, your South Montgomery apartment will be a convenient place to live if you work here!
